    Order FAQ

    Do you sell half yards?
    We sell whole yards only.

    How do I check the status of my order?
    Please log into your account anytime to check the shipping status of your order. You will automatically receive a tracking notification when your order ships.

    I placed an order but I forgot something, can I add it?
    As long as the first order hasn't shipped yet, simply place a second order and your orders and yardage will be combined and shipping overage refunded.

    Will yards be continuous?
    Unless otherwise noted your yards will always be continuous. If there's no note and we can't supply continuous yards for some reason we will email you with options prior to shipping.

    What is your turnaround time?
    We ship next business day or quicker. We ship USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) or UPS Ground - your choice. During big sales events processing times may be longer (see "What should I expect during a big sale?").

    A few business days have passed and I did not receive a shipping notice?

    You may log into your Knitpop account anytime to check order status. If it hasn't shipped, please check your inbox and spam folder for any Knitpop emails (in case there is an issue) and feel free to reach out to us at service@knitpop.com

    How much fabric fits in a box?
    Please visit our shipping page for more information.

    Do you offer bulk discounts?
    Yes, Knitpop offers the following discounts on 10+ yards of a single fabric:
    10+ yards of a single fabric 20%
    30+ yards of a single fabric 30%
    The discount is manually refunded at time of shipping. Refund will be made to primary payment method (Paypal, credit card) if amount paid allows, if refund amount is greater than amount paid refund is in Knitcoin.
    Exclusions: Clearance & Sale items; no other discounts may be applied.

    Why is my gift code not working?
    The full amount of each gift code must be used for fabric in a single order, it can not be applied to tax or shipping cost.

    Can I use Rewards / Knitcoin to pay for my order and use a discount or gift code?
    The system can only handle one discount per order so Rewards can not be redeemed in combination with another discount or gift code. You may use one or the other.

    Can I purchase a gift card with my rewards?
    Unfortunately, no. Gift cards are excluded from the Rewards program, you can not earn or redeem credit to purchase Gift Cards.

    I am local, can I pick up?
    Certainly, by appointment. Please use code LOCALPICKUP and leave a comment during checkout. We will email you when your order is ready to set an appointment for pickup.

    What should I expect during a big sale?

    • Mind-blowing deals on irresistible fabric! ;-)
    • Shipping delays of up to 10 days.
    • Slower email response time.
    • Multiple open orders will automatically be combined. No need to email.
    • NO holding orders.
    • No retroactive discounts for orders placed before the sale began.
    • Yards will be CONTINUOUS WHEN POSSIBLE but stock moves lightning fast so we may run out or only have pre-cut single yards left. If you must have continuous yards for your project, please make a note in checkout comments and we will automatically REFUND non-continuous yards. We will not be emailing individually as this occurs.
    • We will refund OUT OF STOCK items without emailing during a sale of this size. This is to keep processing times down to a minimum. Apologies in advance.
    • If you have a purchased Gift Card (not giveaway/promo etc) you may checkout and leave your gift code in comments. You will be refunded for the amount of your gift code. No need to email. Other codes / bulk discounts may not be combined with a sale. No double dipping.
    • Once your shipping label is created, it may not be combined with another order. You may place as many orders are you like, of course.



    Rewards FAQ

    I have earned Knitcoin, how can I see my balance?
    1. Make sure you are logged in and click "My account";


    2. Click "View Rewards & Discounts"


    3. This takes you to your rewards. Here you can view your Knitcoin balance and any discounts you have redeemed but not used yet.

    I have Knitcoin balance, how do I redeem it?
    1. Make sure you are logged in on www.knitpop.com and fill up your cart with all the fabric;
    2. In your cart click the "Redeem Knitcoin ($$)" button just above the checkout button.


    3. Enter the amount you wish to redeem in the popup. The amount can not be greater than the subtotal of fabric in your cart;


    4. Done! Click "checkout" and you will see the discount applied to your subtotal in the next screen.


    I do not see my Knitcoin in my Knitpop account or my cart during checkout?
    1. Make sure you are logged in;
    2. Please check if third party cookies are enabled in your browser settings, if they aren't your rewards can't load. "Enabled" is the default setting but they can be disabled in some browsers. Alternatively, try a different browser or device.

    I redeemed Knitcoin for a discount but I removed it on check out, what now?
    Knitcoin will automatically return to your balance if you check out without using the code. If you didn't check out, the discount code will remain in your account but if you wish to cancel the discount code and manually recover your Knitcoin follow these steps:
    1. Log into your account or click "My Account";
    2. Click the "View Rewards & Discounts" button. You'll see the active discount code under "Current Discounts"
    3. Click "Cancel and Return Knitcoin". Done!

    Can I use Rewards / Knitcoin to pay for my order AND use a discount or gift code?
    The system can only handle one discount per order so Rewards can not be redeemed in combination with another discount or gift code. You may use one or the other.

    Can I use Rewards / Knitcoin to pay for my order AND receive a bulk discount on 10+ yards continuous?
    Yes, in this case you can. The bulk discount is manually refunded at time of shipping. Your refund will be made to primary payment method (Paypal, credit card) if the balance paid allows (after applying Knitcoin). If the refund amount is greater than the balance paid refund will be made to your Knitcoin balance.

    Can I purchase a gift card with my rewards?
    Unfortunately, no. Gift cards are excluded from the Rewards program, you can not earn credit on or redeem credit for Gift Card purchases.

    Can I gift my rewards to a friend?
    This is possible, follow these steps:
    1. Log into your account or click "My Account";
    2. Click the "View Rewards & Discounts" button;
    3. Click "Redeem for discount";


    4. Enter the amount you wish to gift in the popup;


    5. Refresh the browser to show the generated discount in this screen and select "Share Discount with Friend".


    6. Enter your friends email address along with a personal message. Make sure the email address is the one she uses for her Knitpop account.

    Policies

    Cancellations
    If you have an emergency and need to cancel your order, please note orders may be canceled as long as they haven't shipped. Please email service@knitpop.com for assistance.

    Returns
    Knitpop does not generally accept returns to ensure 'fresh from factory' fabric for all but we have stellar customer service! If anything is amiss with your order, please email service@knitpop.com so we can make it right.

    Discounts
    Discounts (bulk, sale, promotional etc.) are honored individually but may never be combined. clearance items are excluded, no other discounts may be applied. Discounts will not be applied retroactively.

    Pricing & Availability Disclaimer
    Prices are subject to change without notice. While unfortunate, if an item is reduced,  goes on sale or clearance after you have placed an order, no retroactive price adjustment will be made. We all love a great deal but please understand our prices are sharp to begin with and we are a mom & pop shop, not a giant box store. To ensure you never miss a sale, please sign up for our newsletter (below) and/or join our wonderful Facebook community for all things fabric, sewing and Knitpop related, including fabric auctions and special sales announcements!
    All items are subject to availability. We work very hard to ensure accurate inventory and have an automatic low stock warning on our website which displays on a product's page if stock drops below 20 yards. Of course, we may run into stock-impacting flaws or mistakes occasionally. If we can't fill your order for some reason we'll promptly contact you via email to discuss substitution or refund.
